The waterfall is flowing nicely and is a welcoming sound as you enter the Estate.

Walking through the Estate yesterday I realised that Calverton truly is

A little place of heaven on Earth.

The sky was clear blue the Estate green, green, green and the river and weirs crystal clear and literally sparkling.  The bird life is prolific and there are plenty of nests being built along the river.

I felt compelled to take photos and share them with you all – seeing is believing though, as photo’s don’t do full justice to the beauty.

We have been fortunate to have had plenty of early rains and long may it continue.  The early mornings are fresh and crisp the evenings can get chilly. The children will really enjoy swimming in the rock pools. The river walk is well maintained and there are plenty of areas where you can sit and relax and take in the ambiance or just listen to the happy birds and frogs. The weirs are stocked right up to Rock pool.

The water lilies are just too beautiful and are in full bloom especially around midday…

An indication of the greenery and clear blue skies.

The klipspringer continue to patrol the Estate along with other four legged friends from Three Falls.

There are plenty of bokmakierie’s on the Estate – making such interesting calls

We are very grateful for the positive and heart-warming comments we receive from our visitors.
